My laptop is shutting down the fans sometime after startup, and they won't restart unless I reboot. Your app reinitiated some fan activity, but of the two fan progress bars, only the GPU fan displays as active. So I'm unsure if the two fans in my laptop are turning on, or just one.

The compatibility of settings in NoteBook FanControl (NBFC) between different models of Acer Predator laptops can vary. While some settings might work across different models, it is not guaranteed. The Acer Predator G3-572 and the Acer Predator PH315-51 may have similar hardware configurations, so the settings might work, but there could be differences in fan control firmware or hardware that affect how they operate.
Given that your laptop fans are shutting down after startup, it is crucial to ensure that the NBFC profile you are using is compatible with your specific model and that your laptop's BIOS and drivers are up to date. It could also be worth trying to find a dedicated NBFC profile for the PH315-51 or adjusting the settings manually to optimize fan control.
If the issue persists, or if you're uncomfortable manually adjusting these settings, consider reaching out to Acer support for guidance on fan control issues specific to your model.
Yes, there is a possibility that the fan is running at 100% due to a software issue. You can try restarting your computer, updating the software, or contacting the software support team for assistance.
For the first time last in last 2 years my laptop fan is not working on full speed. But as there was not Acer 8950g in the device list, I use the configuration for 1810 tz. It is not working perfectly. But still something. I change my fan, heat sink. Nothing works until now. Now only my fan slow down no problem at temperature. But current fan speed displayed 0.0% or %100. If it is possible can you just add 8950g to your list please. So it will work better.

There's a NoteBook FanControl thread at Github where you can address your question directly to Stefan Hirschmann, original developer.
There is no price for the application because it's developed as open-source. The project is hosted on GitHub and you can contribute if you have the knowledge and skills. Use the link below to reach the page. There is also a practical guide on how to compile the software to work on your PC.
I have checked the GitHub page for this application, but there isn't a specific configuration for your laptop model. I have downloaded latest version and installed it, then accessed the configuration models and u41-70 was missing.
For a more easy approach, I recommend using SpeedFan. It's more easier to use that NoteBook FanControl and safer: http://speedfan.software.informer.com/
It works fine without power pack connected to the notebook (Hp Probook 4530s). But when I connect it, the fan is always running. Also when I put target fan speed at 0,0%. Why?

When you connect the AC power adapter, the fan will always run at its full speed because it has enough voltage. That's why it works find without the AC adapter. The fan controller service is locked during the AC connection. I have tested the application and confirmed your statement and it's as I said: without the AC adapter it works, but when I plug the AC, the software will not work at all.
Yes, you can add the model of your computer to NoteBook FanControl. You can find information on how to do this on the program's website or user forums.
